GENERAL WOLFE’S BICENTENARY KEPT UP.

The Prince of Wales was the principal guest at the bicentenary dinner to celebrate the birth of General Wolfe, the hero of Quebec. The anniversary was also celebrated of Westerham, Kent, the birthplace of General Wolfe. Mr Churchill, speaking at the dinner, delivered an eloquent panegyric upon the measureless consequences of the victory on the Heights of Abraham.
