An Englishman and his -wife who are. out in New Zealand for a year or two. and who are determined to see as much of the country as possible, commenced a caravan tour last week which will eventually embrace the whole of the North Island. The caravan was built in Gisborne according to the ideas of the tourist, and a trailer, in which the cooking is carried out., is attached. The vehicle is drawn by two horses, and it is the intention of the tourists to spend as much time as they want to in the places visited. The whole of the present summer will be spent in Hawke's Bay and Rotorua districts, and Whangarei a.nd the far north will be visited next winter.
