MAYOR WILL LEAVE HOSPITAL ON THURSDAY.

The Mayor (the Rev J K Archer), who has been a J>atient in the Christchurch Hospital since December 21 will return to his home on Thursday. Since his operation he has been making an excellent recovery, and is now able to get up for a little while each day. although he is not vet allowed to walk. It will be some little time before he will be able to get about as usual.
