YOUNG MAN ADMITS BURGLARY CHARGES.
Per Press Association. DARGAVILLE, December 31. During the last week-end several business premises at Ruawai were burgled, and in some cases goods and money taken away. The burglar then stole a horse and rode away on it with a saddle and bridle taken from one of the places entered. The police were communicated with and Constable Waterman arrested Raymond Sheaves, aged twenty-four, a farm hand, out on license from the Borstal Institution, who was brought before two justices this morning. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a month’s imprisonment on each of three charges.
