UNITED CLUB’S TOURNEY.
At 9 a.m. to-morrow play will be commenced in the United Club’s open and handicap tournament, which was postponed from Christmas. Eighteen courts will be in play, and a start will probably be made with men’s and women's singles. Although it is not intended to redraw the events, several players have dropped out, and this leaves blanks for which late entries may be accepted.
