SUBURBAN CRICKET ASSOCIATIONS HOLD CHRISTMAS TOURNEY.

AUCKLAND AND WELLINGTON DRAW. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, December SI. The second day’s play between Auckland and Wellington in the annual Christmas tournament of the combined New Zealand Suburban Cricket Associations resulted in a draw. The wicket .was in excellent: order. A heavy shower shortly before five o’clock made it necessary to draw stumps, Auckland having jnade 136 for six wickets, and requiring Only 30 to win. Hendy’s unbeaten 89 included thirteen fours. The outcome of to-day’s match between Auckland and Christchurch will decide who will be the holders of the Walker Shield. If Auckland wins the fate of the shield will depend on the highest percentages between Auckland and Wellington, as both teams will have won and drawn a game. If Christchurch win. the shield will go to Wellington, as the former has not yet won a game. Scores:
