The Opera House re-opened yesterday after having been closed for a week, and holiday audiences packed the theatre to welcome George Storey and his Storyettes, who apart from the interesting picture gazette with which the programme was opened, contributed the whole entertainment. The popular comedian was in his best form after his brief holiday, and he was capably supported by the members of his company The singing of Miss Nellie Kemp and Mr Robert Raymond was most enjoyable. There is any amount of comedy in the course of the evening and the audiences yesterday afternoon and evening were not slow in showing their appreciation ot the work of the artists.
