'(Special to the “Star.’') WELLINGTON. November 26. Heavy stamping, evidently deliberate,. was the reply the orderly got to the cry “Silence! ” in the Magistrate’s Court. Mr W. G. Riddell, S.M., looked up with a frown. “Bring back that young man who was making all that noise.” he ordered. The orderly disappeared and returned with the culprit. “What do you mean by making such a noise?” asked Mr Riddell. The young mail said it was not him. The orderly: He was the man who made the noise, your Worship, “Well, I prefer to take the orderly’s statement to your,” observed Mr Riddell. “When you come into court behave yourself, if you expect to remain; otherwise you will find yourself somewhere you won’t like.” Mr Riddell ordered him to sit down. “You will remain in custody till I discharge ydu,” he said. The young man sat down sheepishly and remained. When released later with an added warning, he left the court precincts without delay and on tip-toe.
