JAZZLAND REVUE COMPANY NOW AT THEATRE ROYAL.
MODERN MINSTREL TROUPE HAS MANY ENJOYABLE ITEMS. A programme of great variety is submitted by the Ferris Jazzland Revue Company, which is appearing at the Theatre Royal this week. Tn the programme there is much that pleases. Dancing of the negro st.yl’e predominate*, but there is plenty of singing in solo, duet, quartette and sextette, and the Ferris Jazz Band provides a few items. It is not a minstrel show In the old accepted form, hut a. minstrel troupe of coloured people modernised and infected with jazz. The items ape well distributed, and the dancing and singing are on the whole of a high and clever order. The company will appear again this evening.
