Tribute to the work and character of the late Mr Walter Hill was paid at the meeting of the North Gan ter bury Hospital Board to-day. The chairman (Mr H. J. Otley) said that Mr Hill had done an immense amount of public work in the last twenty-five years, for over twenty of w T hich the speaker had been associated with him on one board. The Hospital Board decided to send a letter of regret and condolence to the family in their great loss.
