CAVENETT CASE AGAIN IN COURT.

SENTENCE REDUCED TO ONE MONTH. Per Pres* Association. AUCKLAND. November 23 Mr Justice Adams heard an appeal to-day from the decision of Mr Hunt, S.M., in the case of William George Cavenett, heard last September, when Cavenett was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment on one charge of theft and a month on a second charge. Ihe Magistrate’s decision on the second charge was quashed. The case to-dav concerned the sentence of two months Ilis Honor reduced this sentence to one month.
