The question of Maori for 8.A.. stage l. was referred to the Wellington members of the board to report to the next meeting of the board. Further action as to proposals concerning Greek was postponed until the next meeting of the board, except in so far as set books for 1928 are concerned. A recommendation was adopted that the regulations for the degree, of Master of Arts and Honours in Arts should be amended, making it necessary for candidates for honours in French, either as a half or full subject, to have passed the matriculation examination, including Latin, or to have passed the university examination in Latin at a standard not lower than that of matriculation.
