A TENNIS INJUSTICE.
To the Editor. c;{ r ,—The New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association has drawn up a Dominion ranking list, and I am amazed to see that Miss Muirson. of Canterbury, has been left out. Miss Muirson is third on the ("anterburv ranking list following Miss. M. Spetrs and Miss M. Wake. During last season, however. Miss Muirson defeated Mrs M. Scott, of Timaru (who is second on the New Zealand list) in one of the most gruelling games that have been seen in New Zealand. This was the final of the Dunedin Exhibition tourney in which Miss Muirson bear Mrs Scott at her own game. Mrs Scott i< a worthy player, but I am inclined to think that in a game with Miss Muirson for her place on the list she would have to go right out and them some to avoid defeat. What I want to know, sir, is why Miss Muirson is not on the list? If my indignation was a ton of bricks the men responsible for the compilation of the first New Zealand ranking list would be flatter than the proverbial pancake bv now.—l am. etc.. CANTERBURY.
