The New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation has approved of the principle of applying for legislation makj ing it compulsory for a New Zealand I brand to be clearly shown on New Zealand-made goods, except in such I cases where, owing to the nature of j the goods, it may be impracticable, j The Federation has decided to invite I competitive designs for a brand, and to offer prizes for such. New Zealand Masonic headquarters will be transferred from Auckland to t Wellington at the end of this month, in accordance with an arrangement by which a change is made every two years. The annual communication will be held at Wellington on November 24. The Governor-General, the present Grand Master, is the only nominee for the same office.
