MAN INSTANTLY KILLED BY TRUCKS.

(Special to the “ Star”) WELLINGTON. July 24. A fatal accident occurred at the new railway. Lower Hutt, this morning. Michael M’Cauley, a well-known employee of the Hutt Borough Council was engaged in drain laying. He stepped across the line and was struck by a long line of trucks and killed instantly. He leaves a family of a son and a married daughter. His wife died some years ago.
