POSITION OF MAORIS STILL INDEFINITE.
Ter Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 22. Up to to-night there was no finality regarding the Maori tour. A meeting of the union will be held to-morrow morning. , __ Love (Wellington) replaces Nepia, not available. The New Zealand Union has decided that if the tour to France and Ungland is abandoned, the Maoris will make a tour of New Zealand, with the possibility of n. trip to Sydney and Melbourne to follow. If the tour abroad is abandoned, the Maoris are to play Canterbury at. Lani caster Park on Saturday, but so far no definite word has been received from the New Zealand Union. Yesterday morning the Canterbury Union received a telegram from the New Zealand Union stating that the tour was still indefinite.
