In the House of Commons, answering a question, Sir Austen Chamberlain said he was satisfied from inquiries that the inter-Allied Military < ontrol Commission had not sent a Note to Germany On the subject of armaments. Asked if it. might be taken that the conditions as to armaments in Germany were satisfactory. Sir Austen Chamberlain replied: “I am sorry to say, no.”
