WOMEN PROTEST AGAINST COST OF LIVING.

A movement of protest- against the high cost of living in general has been decided upon by the Spreydon branch i of the Mothers Union, which will call a combined meeting of other societies interested. This course was decided upon at a meeting of the branch \-esterday afternoon. Recent rises in the prices of commodities, particularly bread, were discussed, and a committee was set up to go into arrangements for the combined meeting.
