Dr J. Russell Wells, of Ashburton, has, according to a cable advice from England, passed the examination qualifying him for admission to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He is now proceeding to the Continent for further study of the medical and surgical treatment of goitre.
