HE DROVE IN MANNER DANGEROUS TO PUBLIC.
Per Press Association. PAIIIATUA, July 1. Arthur S. Winter, farmer, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving a motorcar while in a state of intoxication, and to a charge of driving in a manner dangerous to the public. On the latter count he was fined £lO and on the first charge his license was suspended till March 31, 1927. The police said that defendant was returning from a clearing sale where he obtained liquor. Tlis car struck another. Damage resulted to both. A youth named Arthur Vernon Stevens, charged with unlawfully converting a car to his own use, was fined £5. On the charge of driving the can while in a state of intoxication his license was supended till March 31 next.
