Sunnyside v. Technical 0.8. The meeting of the two leading teams at English Park created more than ordinary interest. Technical kicked ofT facing sun and wind. From a midfield raid Trotter netted for Sunnyside in the first minute, hut he was ruled offside. Bros nan blocked a movement- by Trotter and Simpson , and Technical rushed play to the other end. Smith sent over ajid Thompson conceded a corner, which was cleared. Sunnyside then attacked on the left and from a centre by Simpson J. Teichert handled in the penalty area. From the spot kick Trot- ; ter made no mistake. Following exchanges favoured Sunnyside. but. Brosnan, f’awtheray and Booth defended well for Technical. Kirk was safe to shots by Trotter and - Mizcn, and a moment later, from a fine pass by Brosnan. Technical swarmed to the Sunnyside goal. With a minute to go, Technical broke through from half-way. Bridges gathered and scored with a cross shot. From the centre kick Trotter went down for Sunnyside.
