ACCIDENTALLY SHOT.

Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 4. A fatality occurred at Warkworth today, a farmer named Robert M’Kinney, aged thirty-four, single, being accidentally shot. He left his farm-house after breakfast to work on a portion of the farm about a mile distant, taking a dog and gun with him. with the intention of doing some shooting on the vay. The dog returned to the farm-house about ten o’clock, and when M’Kinney failed to appear for dinner his sister, who was the only one home at the time, went out to investigate. She found her brother lying dead a few yards from a wire fence. Evidently the accident had occurred when deceased was trying to climb over the fence.
