BIGAMIST GAOLED.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 5. Leslie Knott, aged thirty-two, who pleaded guilty to bigamy to-day, was sentenced by Mr Justice Reed to eighteen months’ imprisonment. Accused married a woman in Australia, deserted her and her child and came to New Zealand. He married another woman, and deserted her. Recently Knott was living with a third woman ■who had a child by him.
