NEW RECORD ” RECIPES—No. I Cook “Maw r 0 nners -ON A ;G3n TRY THIS DELIGHTFUL DISH Chic en Msuld: A fowl past its first youth may be used if it is partly boiled before being put into the mould. Ing.ed ents. —One pound of chicken and halfpound of ham, both cut into small pieces; 4 liard-boi!e>l eggs, sliced* seasoning of pepper, salt, parsley, and sweet herbs; gelatine. Butter a plain mould and arrange some slices of the egg at the bottom; then add a layer of the chicken, and the ham. with seasoning and herbs; another layer of eggs, and so on, til! the mould is nearly full. (Be careful not to use too much of the sweet herbs—quarter teas; oonful is plenty). Dissolve half-ounce of gelatine in h li'-p’nt of chicken broth, and fill up the mould with this.
