A RE WE going to be those who be* v Hevc in the “damned nigger’’ doctrine, or those who will stand unselfishly for the brotherhood of mankind? We cannot understand the mind of the world unless we accept the fact that through the war white prestige has slumped, and that it is no longer assumed that the white, man must inevitably lead. The fact that the negro population is increasing more rapidly than any other, and that the white population has the slowest increase, helps to make the race problem important.
