MATCHES AT SHIRLEY The third round for the captain’s trophy was played at Shirley to-day. Results are:— G. W. Haberfield beat E. T. Shores, 2 and 1. J. H. Early beat B. C. Whitcombe, 3 and 1. M. 11. Godby beat H. D. Denham, 7 and 6. J. Dolph beat H. O. D. Meares, 3 and 2. In the first round for the Campbell Cup:— A. L. Alacfarlane beat G. S. Jones, 4 and 3. R. L. Ronaldson beat R. O.
