LONDON, June 2. The Cairo correspondent of the “ Morning Post ” says that the news of Judge Kershaw's resignation and the Government Note were not altogether unexpected. It is regarded as the first of a series of important developments. It is clear that Britain does not intend to take threats lying down. It is stated that Zaghlul deciired to give undertakings to the British Commissioner on certain points and declared that it would be necessary for him to go to London.
