WINTER RACING.
.\ bright. cold day, made heavy coats and furs a necessity for comfort at Addington yesterday, when the Canterbury Park Trotting Club held the first day of iis winter meeting. A large number of people attended. and after the initial discomfort of cold had been countered. a thoroughly enjoyable day‘s sport was provided. The racing was good. and the general arrangements were satisfactory, The heavy dressing meant little colour on the course. but people looked cosy. and that was important when the bleak wind blew.
