The Bishop of Christchurch (Dr Campbell West-Watson) consecrated the new Anglican portion of the Sydenham cemetery on Sunday afternoon. The procession consisted of the Bishop, accompanied by the Diocesan Registrar, the vicar of Sydenham. Canon Mutter, and the Rev R. Newcombe, and about 100 parishioners, who proceeded to the three acres of ground at Milton Street, set aside b3 r the City Council for an Anglican cemetery.
