BIRTH ON VOYAGE INCREASES MIGRANT FAMILY TOTAL TO 10.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 22 The 781 immigrants who arrived by the Mah ana are largely from Scotland and the North of Ireland, with a big proportion from the Midlands, whole family parties being a feature of the new arrivals. During the voyage the total was increased by the birth of a boy on May 11, bringing one family up to ten.
