Sports competition: will bo conducted in the “STAR" throughout the football season. Six prizes. each of £l, will be given to the competitors who send in the most accurate prediction: o! the score! in the senior competition: of the Onterbury Rugby Union. Outor’ bury Rugby Lennie. end Centerbury Foothgll ”wanton. Three prizes have been assignod to Rugby, two to 1.0.qu and one to Soccer. The intention o! tho “Stu" is to avoid-anything approaching a more lottery or guesswork. For this reason. the competitions will appeal to followorl of the three football codes, u tho, will be able to exercise their skill in the individual comp.titions in which they are interosted.
