PATIENT SUFFERS NO ILL-EFFECTS.

A hospital patient undergoing radium treatment, in his sleep broke a tube containing radium held in his mouth, and a speck of radium, valued at £350, slipped down the man’s throat. Doctors followed its course with the radioscope down his gullet into the stomach. The patient suffered no ill effects.
