On the journey northward from Fairbanks Captain Wilkins’s aeroplane Alaskan nearly crashed at Endacotts. The right landing wheel almost touched a snowbank. Since his arrival at Barrow, Captain Wilkins has tried three,times to make the return journey, but each time he was forced back by storms and low hanging clouds. He is now’ ready to make his fourth attenmpt.
