Interest is growing more intense regarding the general elections next month The < lumber of Deputies com prison 214 members, of whom 07 hav e already been returned unopposed, including 43 Zaghloulists, who have thus got a good start. Three groups the Zaghloul,iats, Liberal t onstiUitionists and Nationalists are lighting as a coalition against the Unionists and Independents. Although Zaghloul is old and infirm it is considered practically certain that lie will secure a majority in the new Chamber, which is expected to meet on June 5.
