FRANCE STILL WORRIED BY RUSSO-GERMAN PACT.
By Telegraph.— Press Assn. —Copyright. Reuter's Telegrams. PARIS, April 28. Publication of the text of the RussoGerman Treaty has not dispelled the concern in French political circles in regard to its possible effects on the fabric of the Geneva or Locarno Treaties. An active exchange of views is proceeding between London and Paris, but it is premature to talk of representations being made to Berlin. “Le Temps” says Germany wants to reserve, an option of choice between the Western Powers and Soviet Russia when the fateful hour strikes, but it, is hardly conceivable that such an at titude. can be compatible with .Ger many's unconditional entry into the League. LONDON, April 28 “The Times,” in a leader, says the Russo-German Treaty creates a new situation in Eastern Europe, necessitating the Western Powers reconsidering their conceptions of the Locarno Pact.
