The Ashburton Rugby Sub Union has petitioned to be constituted a major union, and at its meeting last night it was decided to inform the Canterbury Rugby Union that in the event of the Sub-Union becoming a major union it wished to retain its present boundaries, from the hills to the sea, and from the Rakaia and Rangitata Rivers. Tt was decided to play a match with tl iK Christchurch High School Old Boys on June 3.
