When lI.M A S Adelaide berthed at Lyttelton this morning the “Star" photographer Mas hailed by a smiling blue-

jacket, who leaned over the railing. “Ho, mate! What about taking a photo of the only Christchurch chap on board?” “A good idea,” responded the photographer, as he clicked the camera. “I'm the only Christchurch chap on board,” repeated the Jack Tar, “and I'm happy to be here. I’m going off on Uventv-one davs' leave to-day.”
