HAIRBRUSH HINT.

If the usual hot water and soap treatment is persisted in, the best and strongest bristles will soon grow soft, and the rubbing process completes the work of destruction. Instead, use soda dissolved in cold water. Soda having an affinity for grease, cleanses the brush with very little friction. Never set brushes to dry near the fire or in the sun, and after shaking them well, set them on the point of the handle in a shady place.
