The Paris correspondent of “ The Times” states that the FraiicoTurkish agreement is expected at the Quai d’Orsay on Wednesday. It provides for a reciprocal undertaking of neutrality in the event of a conflict with a third party. The Baghdad Railway remains on Turkish territory, but is under joint Franco-Turk-ish policing, 50 kilometres on either side.

M. de Jouvenel’s policy is to establish good neighbourly relations with the British and Turks, especially aiming to restrict the Syrian internal that are being aggravated by frontier disorders. ■ *
