On the application of the Chief Detective. a remand was granted till tomorrow morning. ALLEGED FRAUD. Robert G. Smyth was charged with having obtained credit by means of fraud from the firm of Macky, Logan and Co. Tn asking for a remand till February 19 Chief-Detective Gibson said there were a number of charges pending against accused.
