ELECTRICITY LOAN DEBEN TURES.

If you have any to invest you cannot do better than invest your funds in the Christchurch City Council Electricity Loan No. 6. The Electricity Department meets the interest and pays to sinking fund commissioners a sufficient sinking fund to meet its loans at maturity out of revenue. A special rate to cover interest and sinking fund has been pledged as security for this loan, and can be collected any time it may be necessary, making an investment in the loan a gilt-edged one. The term of the loan is oO years from 14th April, 1925. Debentures are issued in denomination of £IOO. The interest is payable at the rate of 5f per cent in Christchurch on 14th April and 14th October each year, commencing from the date the debentures are purchased. The money is required for.extensions to the electricity system, which is an important factor in the city's growth, and the investment should appeal to every progressive citizen. Applications can be made to the City Treasurer or the Accountant, Municipal Electricity Department. 1466
