UNKNOWN N.Z. SOLDIER FOUND IN FRANCE.
| The following letter has been receiv- ' ed by the secretary of the Christchurch R.S.A. from the Department of Inter* nal Affairs:— “ Advice has been received from the Imperial War Grnsves Commission of the recovery of the remains of an unknown New Zealand soldier at Map Reference Sheet 28, ,1)13, C 55, and that the ,body has in Plot 11, Row E, grave 7, of Bedford House cemetery enclosure Ncx. 4, Zillebecke, The only identification was a colour patchv of the First Battalion, Wellington RSegiment, and a full set of artificial lee*th. j “ I should be glad if you would bring 1 this tinder the notice of your members, as it (is possible that one of them may be able to give sufficient information I to to the identity of this soldier i being (^established.”
