AUCTION FURNITURE SALES. Nicholls and Co., Ltd., Furniture Sales report:— In their rooms on Wednesday last at their weekly sales the following prices were realised: Pianos, £4B, £22 and £l6, oak bedroom suite, £18; gramophone, £l3 6s and £10; carpets, £7 10s, £4 ss; duchesse chests, £4, £3 6s and £2 10s; suites, £8 10s and £lO 16s. On Thursday a clearing sale of the Grand Tea Rooms, Colombo Street, realised the following prices: Cash register, £76; 358 chairs at 6s 9d each; seventyeight chairs at 6s 6d; runner, £4 17s; cutlery sold well; thirty tables at 7s each; and all other lines cleared well. 6 STOCK EXCHANGES.
