KILLING AT NORMAL RATE.
BUTCHERS HOLD STOPWORK MEETING TO-DAY. “Killing is being carried on at a normal rate,** said Mr C. G. Wilkin, secretary of the South Island Freezing Works’ Association, this morning, when asked as to the position at the freezing works. It is understood that a stop-work meeting was held at Islington freezing works this morning, but no information as to its reason could be obtained.
