NEWS IN BRIEF.
Walter Lisle Tye, a resident of Takapuna, was throw r n from his horse and seriously injured. He is unconscious in hospital, and it is thought that his skull may be fractured. « & W. Paterson was admitted to the Anckland Hospital unconscious, suffering from head injuries caused through being knocked down by a motor-car.
