ULIMAROA DISPUTE NOW SETTLED.
COMPANY WILL PAY OVERTIME DEMANDED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. A us. and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received January 29, 11.40 am.) SYDNEY, January 29. A settlement has been effected of the union dispute w’hich, until last week, had held up the Ulimaroa for three months. The point at issue was a claim by the seamen for £l2 overtime. At a conference between the company’s officials and representatives of the seamen the company agreed to pay the amount.
