The Dutch authoritise refused to allow the ex-Crown Prince to visit his father at Doom on the occasion of the latter’s sixty-seventh birthday. This unexpected decision contradicts the permission granted previously, and the ex-Kaiser is disappointed at what he calls “ ridiculous interference -with a mere birthday reception.” It is suggested in certain quarters that the Allied Governments intervened to prevent the visit;
