RANGIORA NEWS.

ODDFELLOWS’ LODGE, N.G. Brother W. Feron presided over a good attendance at the regular meeting of the Loyal Rangiora Lodge, M.U.1.0.0.F., on Monday night. Brother T. White, of the Loyal Waikari Lodge, was present and was cordially welcomed. A motion of sympathy with P.D.G.M. Brother M. Barrell in his illness and expressing best wishes for his speedy recovery, was passed. The secretary of the Band of Hope Druids’ Lodge wrote conveying a suggestion that the Friendly Societies’ picnic be revived. After considerable discussion it was resolved to reply that the lodge was not optimistic of the excursion being a success, and therefore considered that it should be held over for the present. It was decided to nominate D.D.G.M. Brother H. Dickboff for the office of District Grand Master for the ensuing term. Sick pay and accounts totalling £35 Ss 6d were passed for payment.
