The coastal steamer Cj’gnet arrived from Wellington via Kaikoura last evening. The vessel will discharge, and is expected to be plced on the slip «t three o’clock this afternoon. She will be refloated to-morrow and is timed to sail for Kaikoura and Wellington on Monday at 5 p.m. Karetu, from Sydney direct, is due here on Thursday. Timaru, Dunedin, Oamaru and Bluff will be her other discharging ports. Waihemo, from Newcastle, is due here on Thursday week with a load of coal. On discharging she proceeds to Vancouver. Kahika is due from Dunedin via Oamaru and Timaru pn Thursday to load for Napier and Gisborne. She' will make a call at Wellington on her way north. Waipaihi arrived at Lyttelton last evening from the south. She is timed to sail this evening for Wellington and Auckland. Breeze is due this evening from Pictoxi with a load of wool and general cargo. She Is timed to sail for the south this evening. Kamo loads here to-day for Wellington. Napier and Gisborne. The Federal steamer Huntingdon sailed from Liverpool on January 9 for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin and Bluff. The vessel sliould reach Auckland on February 16. Canadian Britisher is due at Wellington to-morrow from Auckland. The vessel is due here about the middle of the week to unload Canadian cargo. Pakeha is timed to sail from Wellington on Monday for London, via Panama. Schouwen arrived at St John on January 7 to load for New ZeaJand ports. The Shaw. Savill and Albion Co. advises that the steamer Otira left Balboa on Monday evening last for Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. She is due at Auckland on February 2. Tees, from the Chathams, is expected to arrive here late to-night or early tomorrow morning with sheep and wool. The vessel is expected to leave for Waitangi on Monday. Wairau. from Blenheim, is expected here on Sunday. She loads on Monday and sails that evening for Blenheim. Port Darwin, which sailed from Wellington on November 25, arrived at London on Sunday last. Hertford is timed to sail from Auckland on January 30 for London, via Panama. City of Shanghai is expected to sail from Wanganui to-morrow for Sydney. Kawatiri sails from Newcastle on Tuesday for Dunedin direct. West Nivaria now leaves Wellington to-morrow for Timaru arid Melbourne to complete discharging. Canadian Spinner left Halifax oh December 28 and arrived at Panama on January 8. She left Panama on the following day for Auckland, where she is due on February 5. Opihi, from Dunedin. Oamaru nd Timaru, is due at Lyttelton on Tuesdav to load for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. Wairau is scheduled to sail from Lyttelton on Monday for Blenheim.
