PAT HANNA’S DIGGERS.
COMMENCE ON SATURDAY NEXT. At 8 o’clock on Saturday night the curtain will rise at the Theatre Royal on Pat Hanna’s Vice-Regal Diggers and a short season of musical costume comedy will have opened. This company had a remarkable record of 488 consecutive nights at Cremome Theatre. Brisbane. They also have the distinction of having been speciallybrought from Australia to play a month’s season at the Dunedin Exhibition and the fact that they have to return there in March next speaks for itself. Their show is said to be particularly' bright and snappy and their versatility is extraordinary'. Included in the personnel of this talented company are G. P. Hanna, Joe Valli, Bert Gilbert, Stan Lawson, Brian Lawrance, Jim Foran, Jock Thomson. Chris Kilner, Frank M’Donald, Roy Brinsden, Wallace Lloyd, Iza Crossley, Jessie Hanna. Vera Carew, Rosette Powell, Thelma Pittard, Wynne Thomson, Kathleen Lawrance, Olive Baker. Gwen Lewis. Myra Bennett and Vera Rix, with the Digger's Superb Ballet and a full concert orchestra. They present the best in artistic song, sketch, comedy. burlesque, male quartettes, dance spectacles, and sparkling originalities.
